o Alpaca fibre is highly sought after and is considered to be a
luxury fibre with wonderful properties.
Alpaca fleece is lighter and warmer than wool yet stronger and more
durable. Alpaca fibre has a hollow insulating core making it warmer
than wool. Alpaca fleece grows naturally in many shades within the broader
colour classes of white, fawn, brown, grey, rose grey and black.
Another advantage of alpaca fibre is that it is non-allergenic. If
you find wool to be prickly or itchy switch to clothing made from warm,
luxurious alpaca fleece - the fine fibres are silky smooth.
